Guido joined SunPower in 2007 as EMEA Strategic Account Manager. In this role he has been responsible for solar energy projects development in new markets incorporating SunPower technology and services for large-scale solar power parks. Multi-MW Frame Agreements of EPC project pipelines. Negotiations and  contract closing of structured project-finance deals with key financial equity investors and debt providers. Since 2010 he is in charge of the EMEA Utility Business segment as Key Account Manager for large national utility companies.
Previously he was Director Marketing at Acqiris SA, a start up commercializing proprietary high-tech capital equipment for test and measurement market (now Agilent Technology) and Director of Sales at Gespac SA providing  embedded electronics systems for transportation, industrial pc, automation, medical & aerospace markets. He spent six years at CERN as Business Developer Manager, providing sophisticated electronic equipments for the advanced physics research market.

Guido holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering (MsEE) from the university of Pisa and a Master in Business Administration from the university of Geneva.
